Who We Are
PATH is an international, non-profit global health organization, envisions a world where innovation ensures that health is within reach for everyone. PATH accelerates innovation across five platforms—vaccines, drugs, diagnostics, devices, and system and service innovations—that harness our entrepreneurial insight, scientific and public health expertise, and passion for health equity. By mobilizing partners around the world, PATH takes innovation to scale, working alongside countries primarily in Africa and Asia to tackle their greatest health needs.
PATH has 1,600 employees working in more than 70 countries with technical teams spanning digital health, monitoring and evaluation, product development, market dynamics, advocacy and public policy, NCDs, Reproductive Health, HIV, TB, MCHN, malaria and other health areas. Our health solutions reach an average of 150 million people each year by addressing every major global health challenge, from malaria to diabetes to neglected tropical diseases. Over the past four decades, PATH has brought together tens of thousands of partners to save lives and improve health for hundreds of millions of people around the world.
PATH is rare among international nongovernmental organizations in having a distinct global program focused on non-communicable diseases (NCDs). Since 2013, and building on our long history in cancer, PATH has built out a strong portfolio of projects targeting diabetes, hypertension, breast and cervical cancer using digital health and innovative partnerships to increase access to NCD prevention and care.
PATH will work closely with the Ministry of Health and local partners across several sectors to assess the supportive policies and interventions required to influence the model of service delivery and increase access to NCD treatment and care including access to essential medicines and products for NCDs.
