With the support of Access Accelerated, the World Bank have released a new report, Integrating noncommunicable disease management into primary healthcare. The publication gathers best practices, learnings and case studies from across six countries: Argentina, Bhutan, Costa Rica, Peru, Rwanda, and Vietnam, providing real-world examples of how countries are effective managing NCDs within primary healthcare settings.

By examining the successes, challenges, and lessons learned, this comprehensive resource aims to inform and support countries looking to improve their NCD management strategies. It serves as a companion piece to the soon-to-be-released “Non-Communicable Disease System Assessment Tool,” which will equip countries with a rapid method for identifying areas for improvement in NCD prevention and management.
