New World Bank tool helps countries identify NCD investment priorities

While the World Bank has invested over $7 billion in NCD projects since 1980, the growing burden of NCDs requires even greater investment.

More and more countries are demanding greater funding to mount an effective NCD response. To bridge this gap and optimize resource allocation, the World Bank has launched a new NCD investment assessment tool, supported by Access Accelerated.

This tool empowers countries to identify critical areas for strengthening their health systems and prioritizing NCD investments.

By targeting the most pressing needs, countries can optimize their health budgets and invest in what truly improves outcomes for people living with NCDs.
