Kenya’s NCD Financing Director on the need for cross-country learning

NCDs are a major financial strain on families worldwide. Sustainable financing solutions are crucial to mitigate this burden.
In a recent conversation with Access Accelerated, Dr. Elizabeth Wangia, Director of NCD Financing at the Ministry of Health, Kenya, emphasized the importance of protecting patients and their families from financial hardship. To ensure the successful implementation of NCD financing policies, Dr. Wangia calls for greater technical assistance, partnerships, and cross-country exchange.
