Access Today: New Year, Same Dedication to NCD Control
At Access Accelerated, our efforts are focused on SDG 3.4 – by 2030, reduce by one third premature mortality from non-communicable diseases through prevention and treatment and promote mental health and well-being; and SDG 17 – strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development. Achieving these SDGs will require deeper commitments to tackling the NCD crisis; greater investments in health systems; and persistent mobilization across sectors and across borders. That’s why Access Accelerated adopted a new strategic framework; one that reinvigorates our steering committee, member companies and partners in tackling the global burden of NCDs while providing a clear and actionable path for maximizing impact to communities worldwide.
