The latest edition of Access Today explores solutions and opportunities that emerged from “Cracking the Code: Innovative Solutions to Unlock NCD Financing in LMICs,” a side-event hosted by Access Accelerated during the recent World Health Assembly.

This event featured Dr. Elizabeth Wangia, Director of Health Financing at Kenya’s Ministry of Health. In an insightful interview with Gina Lagomarsino, CEO of Results for Development, Dr. Wangia shared Kenya’s innovative approach to addressing health financing challenges.

Novo Nordisk joined Access Accelerated this month. In an interview with Carissa Vados, Head of Diabetes Equity at Novo Nordisk, Vados discussed healthcare access and her vision for the future of NCD care.

Meanwhile, the second International Dialogue on Sustainable Financing for NCDs and Mental Health took place in Washington D.C., with Access Accelerated playing a key role.
