Access Accelerated in Kenya: Fact Sheet
Our work in Kenya focuses on overcoming barriers to care including policy, regulatory, financial and delivery hurdles. Effectively addressing these barriers requires multiple sectors working together.
Through our partnerships with the World Bank, the World Heart Federation and PATH, we are working to:
- Help Kenya achieve its universal health coverage goals
- Contribute to the national NCD priorities
- Monitor the uptake of the new National Guidelines for Cardiovascular Disease Management
- Identify strengths and inefficiencies in the supply chain
- Share insights from the NCD Navigator to strengthen primary health care provision
