Access Accelerated in Ghana: Fact Sheet

Access Accelerated is working with our partners to amplify the voices of people living with NCDs in Ghana, advance data-driven decisions to inform health policy and improve the delivery of treatment and care for the benefit of everyone’s health and wellbeing.

Through our partnerships with the World Bank, the NCD Alliance, PATH and City Cancer Challenge we are working to:

Bring together the Ghana Health Service (GHS) and people living with NCDs to carry out a survey and inform the 2020-2025 national NCD policy and strategic plan
Educate communities around the burden of NCDs
Bring the NCD Navigator, a mapping of NCD programs showing the scale of activities across a country with real-time data and visualization, to Ghana
Provide an overview of current NCD care in Ghana
Complete a city needs assessment to implement an approach to engage multi-sector stakeholders in addressing cancer treatment and care
