OUR PARTNERS: WORLD HEART FEDERATION FACT SHEET
Access Accelerated and the World Heart Federation (WHF) started working together in 2018 to fight cardiovascular disease (CVD) – the world’s number one killer – by strengthening cardiovascular health and care through supporting and accelerating global and national advocacy efforts. Our partnership with WHF has helped us:
- Empower advocates for change at a local level
- Convene stakeholders to drive more effective health policies
- Share knowledge and tools to advance action on CVDs
WHF works with more than 200 member organizations in over 100 countries and is the CVD partner to the WHO. We both believe that private sector partnerships can capitalize on global networks to influence and share insights, challenge accepted thinking and, by 2030, help reduce by one-third premature mortality from NCDs.
