In China, only 21% of dementia patients get a standard diagnosis. And among those who are diagnosed, only 19.6% of patients are receiving appropriate treatments. As part of the “Remember I Love You” campaign, Eisai co-established a social network platform called Yellow Wristband with the China Population Welfare Foundation.
It is a comprehensive application to provide education on dementia, self-assessment, drug compliance and a memory clinic list. Also, the SNS platform provides an online application function when wearing the yellow wristband. It’s a wristband integrated with dementia-patient information to help them find their home and contacts when they are wandering.
