Access Accelerated Stakeholder Collaboration in Kenya

March 21 – 22, 2018 | Crowne Plaza Hotel Nairobi, Kenya

Please join  Access Accelerated  for a stakeholder collaboration event in Nairobi, Kenya at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. The event will cover a variety of critical issues related to non-communicable disease (NCD) prevention and treatment in Kenya, including new opportunities for collaboration to develop sustainable solutions.

The event will bring together diverse perspectives to address the challenge of NCDs in Kenya, fostering a collaborative environment and providing participants with the opportunity to build relationships, identify synergies, and learn from one another for a more informed, holistic response.

Wednesday, March 21:

  • 7:00 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. : Breakfast
  • 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. : Program Sessions
  • 5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. : Reception

Thursday, March 22:

Keynote Speeches
Keynote addresses will be delivered by patient advocates, and senior representatives from Access Accelerated, the Kenya Ministry of Health and the World Bank.

Interactive Panel Discussions
Themed technical panels will cover topics ranging from community engagement and multisectoral collaborations, to sustainable financing and supply chain strengthening. The audience will have ample time for questions at the end of each session.

Breakout Workshops
Breakout workshops led by partners from the World Heart Federation, NCD Alliance and PATH will engage in technical discussions about the piloting of tools that address specific NCD challenges. *Additional details for registration to participate in these workshops will be shared separately with participants who have RSVP’d

Exhibition of Access Programmes
Access Accelerated member companies and partners will display and share information about their NCD access initiatives in an interactive Exhibition area that will be open throughout the event. 

Reception
A reception on the evening of March 21 and periodic breaks between sessions will allow participants to network and form relationships with other attendees that could lead to future collaboration.
